Dog Grooming on Your Doorstep
More and more of us are finding ways to save time by using convenient door‑to‑door services. Recently, while returning home, a bright green van caught my eye in the neighbourhood. Curious about this unexpected visitor, I took a closer look.
The van belonged to Handsome Hounds, run by local groomer Liz Chaney. Liz explained that she once operated a grooming studio, but decided to bring her services directly to customers instead. Her fully equipped, air‑conditioned mobile grooming van now allows her to work on the move, and she no longer needs a shop.
Peering inside, I saw Liz hard at work washing, drying, and grooming a very content little dog who seemed to be enjoying every moment, complete with a happy “doggie smile”.
Liz also provides grooming for cats and is in high demand, with a waiting list for new clients.
