In celebration of National Carers Week, Hampton Grove Care Home in Peterborough hosted a dedicated Care Awards evening to recognise the exceptional commitment, compassion, and hard work of its team members.
The event highlighted the deep impact staff make daily in the lives of those they support. Winners of the awards were selected directly through votes cast by staff, residents, and their families, ensuring the honours genuinely reflected the community’s gratitude.
The celebration featured a stunningly decorated venue, a gourmet buffet, and a festive atmosphere filled with laughter and appreciation. General Manager Stefan Lupu opened the evening by expressing heartfelt thanks to Activities Coordinator Becky, Head Chef Craig, Second Chef Cassie, and their kitchen team for their extensive hard work in designing and implementing the successful event.
“Our staff’s dedication and compassion make a profound difference every single day,” said Stefan, General Manager of Hampton Grove Care Home. “This evening was a wonderful reminder of the incredible people who make our home such a caring and supportive place. We are deeply grateful to everyone who voted, attended, and helped us celebrate our team.”
The evening also welcomed a special guest, Clinical Development Nurse Stefan, who joined the festivities to help present the awards and support the team. Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed an evening of music, drinks, and conversation.
The event successfully underscored Barchester Healthcare’s ongoing commitment to honouring care professionals and fostering a strong, supportive community for both staff and residents.
